These Apple Pie Bites are quick and easy mini apple pies made with buttery crescent roll dough, sweet cinnamon-spiced apples, brown sugar, and crunchy pecans. Ready in under 30 minutes, they’re the perfect dessert for holidays or cozy family nights.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice, plus extra for sprinkling
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1 small Granny Smith apple, cored and cut into 8 (1/2-inch) slices
- 1 (8-ounce) tube Pillsbury Original crescent rolls
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and apple pie spice.
- Melt the butter and toss the apple slices in the melted butter.
- Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly over each crescent triangle.
- Top each triangle with chopped pecans.
- Place one apple slice on the wide end of each triangle and roll the dough around the apple.
- Brush each apple pie bite with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle with a little extra apple pie spice.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
- Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
