  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder


Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Drain well.
  2. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Whisk in flour and cook about 1 minute to form a roux.
  3. Warm the milk gently, then gradually whisk into the roux. Increase heat to medium, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
