Description

Cajun Honey Butter Salmon combines bold Cajun spices with a sweet, buttery sauce for perfectly seared salmon fillets topped with a rich, flavorful glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin on)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Black sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry. Rub each with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and salt.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side up for 3 minutes, then flip and cook 2 more minutes.
  3. In small saucepan, melt butter. Add honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Simmer 2 minutes, then stir in lemon juice.
  4. Pour honey butter sauce over salmon and cook 3–5 more minutes, spooning sauce over fillets regularly.
  5. Garnish with parsley, lemon wedges, and black sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Pat salmon dry to help seasoning stick and form a nice crust.
  • Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
  • If too spicy, reduce Cajun seasoning.
  • Serve immediately for optimal taste and texture.
