Description
Cajun Honey Butter Salmon combines bold Cajun spices with a sweet, buttery sauce for perfectly seared salmon fillets topped with a rich, flavorful glaze.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (skin on)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
- Black sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat salmon fillets dry. Rub each with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and salt.
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side up for 3 minutes, then flip and cook 2 more minutes.
- In small saucepan, melt butter. Add honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Simmer 2 minutes, then stir in lemon juice.
- Pour honey butter sauce over salmon and cook 3–5 more minutes, spooning sauce over fillets regularly.
- Garnish with parsley, lemon wedges, and black sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Pat salmon dry to help seasoning stick and form a nice crust.
- Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
- If too spicy, reduce Cajun seasoning.
