Description

Cajun Shrimp & Salmon with Garlic Cream is a bold and irresistible seafood dish featuring tender shrimp and flaky salmon coated in Cajun seasoning and finished in a rich, creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle shrimp and salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through and flaking easily. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring constantly. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  6. Return shrimp and salmon to the skillet, gently coating in the garlic cream sauce. Cook together for 2 additional minutes to warm through.
  7. Remove from heat, transfer to a serving platter, and drizzle with extra garlic cream sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra heat.
  • Serve with rice or pasta to soak up the creamy sauce.
  • Garnish with extra fresh parsley for color and flavor.
