Description
These cheesy garlic pesto chicken sliders are gooey, flavorful, and easy to make with simple ingredients. Perfect for parties or quick meals.
Ingredients
- 12 slider rolls
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2/3 cup basil pesto
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Slice slider rolls horizontally, keeping them connected.
- Place bottom half in baking dish.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley.
- Spread half the pesto on bottom rolls.
- Add chicken, then mozzarella cheese.
- Spread remaining pesto on top half of rolls and place on top.
- Brush with garlic butter and season lightly.
- Cover with foil and bake 10 minutes.
- Uncover and bake another 5–10 minutes until golden and melted.
Notes
- Can be doubled for larger gatherings.
- Best served warm and fresh.
- Leftovers can be reheated in oven.
