Description
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bark is an easy sweet-and-salty dessert made with Ritz crackers, buttery caramel, rich chocolate, and fresh strawberries. Perfect for parties and holidays.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, tops removed
- 1 1/2 sleeves Ritz crackers (48 crackers)
- 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 oz white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with nonstick aluminum foil.
- Dice strawberries and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- Arrange Ritz crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium-low heat until smooth.
- Pour caramel evenly over crackers and bake for 7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly over caramel. Spread as they melt.
- Add white chocolate chips on top and swirl with a toothpick.
- Sprinkle dried strawberries evenly over warm chocolate.
- Refrigerate until completely set.
- Remove from pan, peel off foil, break into pieces, and serve.
Notes
- Dry strawberries well to prevent excess moisture.
- Bark can be stored refrigerated in an airtight container.
