Description

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bark is an easy sweet-and-salty dessert made with Ritz crackers, buttery caramel, rich chocolate, and fresh strawberries. Perfect for parties and holidays.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, tops removed
  • 1 1/2 sleeves Ritz crackers (48 crackers)
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 6 oz white chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with nonstick aluminum foil.
  2. Dice strawberries and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  3. Arrange Ritz crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium-low heat until smooth.
  5. Pour caramel evenly over crackers and bake for 7 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly over caramel. Spread as they melt.
  7. Add white chocolate chips on top and swirl with a toothpick.
  8. Sprinkle dried strawberries evenly over warm chocolate.
  9. Refrigerate until completely set.
  10. Remove from pan, peel off foil, break into pieces, and serve.

Notes

  • Dry strawberries well to prevent excess moisture.
  • Bark can be stored refrigerated in an airtight container.
