Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup marshmallow fluff
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, then add a small dollop of marshmallow fluff on top of each cookie.
- Use a knife or toothpick to gently swirl the marshmallow into the cookie dough.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are soft and gooey.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra gooey marshmallow, slightly underbake the cookies.
- Optional: sprinkle with mini chocolate chips or drizzle melted chocolate on top.
