This Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake with Oreo crust is a dessert lover’s dream. Rich, creamy, and loaded with peanut butter and chocolate goodness, it’s the perfect decadent treat for special occasions or whenever you’re craving something indulgent.
Ingredients
- For Oreo crust:
- 2 cups Oreo crumbs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Peanut butter cheesecake filling:
- 32 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/4 cups miniature chocolate chips
- Milk chocolate ganache:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips or 9.5 oz milk chocolate, finely chopped
- For garnish:
- Chopped Reese’s cups
- Crushed roasted peanuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9-inch springform pan, line bottom with parchment, and wrap the pan with two layers of foil.
- Make crust: Mix Oreo crumbs with melted butter. Press into bottom of pan. Chill while preparing filling.
- Make filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in peanut butter, heavy cream, and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour filling over crust and smooth top. Place pan in roasting pan and add hot water halfway up the sides.
- Bake 55–70 minutes until edges are set and center slightly jiggly. Tent with foil if browning too fast.
- Remove from water bath and cool completely. Refrigerate at least 5 hours or overnight.
- Ganache: Bring cream to a boil. Pour over half the chocolate and stir until melted. Add remaining chocolate and stir until smooth. Cool until pourable.
- Remove cheesecake from pan. Spread ganache over top, letting it drip down sides. Garnish with peanuts and Reese’s. Chill until serving.
Notes
- Use full-fat block cream cheese for best texture.
- All ingredients should be room temperature.
- Do not overmix to prevent cracking.
