Ingredients
- For the Salmon & Shrimp:
- 2 salmon fillets
- 12–14 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp blackened seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- For the Cream Sauce:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (optional)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season & Sear the Seafood: Pat salmon dry and season with blackened seasoning, salt, and pepper. Season shrimp the same way. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high. Sear salmon 3–4 minutes per side until blackened and flaky. Remove and set aside. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Creamy Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan and Cajun seasoning, whisking until slightly thickened. Finish with lemon juice and parsley.
- Assemble the Dish: Return salmon and shrimp to skillet, spooning sauce over top. Simmer 2–3 minutes to absorb flavors.
- Serve: Pair with rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or crusty bread. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
- Use fresh seafood for best results.
