Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines perfectly cooked salmon with a spicy and tangy Bang Bang sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillets, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1–2 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Chopped parsley, green onions, or sesame seeds for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Pat salmon cubes dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Toss to coat.
- In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth. Adjust spice or sweetness as desired.
- Choose a cooking method:
- Pan-sear: Heat nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; cook salmon 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F; arrange salmon on parchment-lined baking sheet; bake 10-12 minutes.
- Air-fry: Preheat air fryer to 375°F; cook salmon in single layer 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Drizzle Bang Bang sauce over salmon on a platter or toss gently in a bowl with the sauce until coated.
- Sprinkle with chopped herbs and serve with lime wedges. Enjoy warm with rice, salad, or veggies!
