Description

Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines perfectly cooked salmon with a spicy and tangy Bang Bang sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 12 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Chopped parsley, green onions, or sesame seeds for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon cubes dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Toss to coat.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth. Adjust spice or sweetness as desired.
  3. Choose a cooking method:
    • Pan-sear: Heat nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; cook salmon 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
    • Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F; arrange salmon on parchment-lined baking sheet; bake 10-12 minutes.
    • Air-fry: Preheat air fryer to 375°F; cook salmon in single layer 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway.
  4. Drizzle Bang Bang sauce over salmon on a platter or toss gently in a bowl with the sauce until coated.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped herbs and serve with lime wedges. Enjoy warm with rice, salad, or veggies!
