Description
Crispy Cotton Candy Cheesecake Bombs are a fun, deep-fried dessert with a creamy cotton candy cheesecake center, coated in a crunchy shell and finished with a sweet candy melt glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup cotton candy, crushed
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups cotton candy–flavored candy melts
- Oil for frying
- Additional crushed cotton candy for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and crushed cotton candy until smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm.
- In another bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add eggs and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Flatten a small piece of dough, place a spoonful of filling in the center, and seal completely.
- Roll into balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Freeze for 15 minutes to firm.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- Melt candy melts and dip each bomb to coat fully.
- Sprinkle crushed cotton candy on top before coating sets.
- Let set, then serve.
Notes
- Seal dough tightly to prevent leaking while frying.
- Serve fresh for the best crunch.
