- For the Beef Filling:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup water

- For the Cheese & Wraps:
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup melted butter (or cooking oil) for brushing
- For Serving:
- Sour cream, for dipping
- Salsa, for topping
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the filling: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic and taco seasoning. Stir in water and simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- Assemble the wraps: Lay out tortillas and sprinkle a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on each. Add a few spoonfuls of beef mixture, then fold tightly into wraps.
- Cook the wraps: Brush each wrap lightly with melted butter or oil. In a clean skillet over medium heat, cook each wrap for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Serve & enjoy: Cut wraps in half and serve hot with sour cream, salsa, and chopped cilantro.
Notes
- Air fryer method: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes for an extra-crispy finish.
- Try adding jalapeños, corn, or black beans for variety.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer.
