Description

These Crunchy Beef Cheese Wraps are crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside, and packed with flavorful taco-seasoned beef. Perfect for an easy lunch, dinner, or game-day snack everyone will love!


Ingredients

    • For the Beef Filling:
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
    • 1/2 cup water

 

    • For the Cheese & Wraps:
    • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
    • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, grated
    • 6 large flour tortillas
    • 1/4 cup melted butter (or cooking oil) for brushing

 

  • For Serving:
  • Sour cream, for dipping
  • Salsa, for topping
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add garlic and taco seasoning. Stir in water and simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  3. Assemble the wraps: Lay out tortillas and sprinkle a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on each. Add a few spoonfuls of beef mixture, then fold tightly into wraps.
  4. Cook the wraps: Brush each wrap lightly with melted butter or oil. In a clean skillet over medium heat, cook each wrap for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  5. Serve & enjoy: Cut wraps in half and serve hot with sour cream, salsa, and chopped cilantro.

Notes

  • Air fryer method: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes for an extra-crispy finish.
  • Try adding jalapeños, corn, or black beans for variety.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer.
