Description

These Deep Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Pies are crispy, golden, and filled with a sweet, creamy strawberry cheesecake center—just like a fair-style dessert you can make at home!


Ingredients

    • For the Filling:
    • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/2 cup diced fresh strawberries
    • 1 tbsp strawberry jam

 

    • For the Pies:
    • 8 small flour tortillas
    • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
    • Oil for frying

 

  • For Dusting:
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, strawberries, and strawberry jam until smooth.
  2. Place 1–2 tablespoons of filling onto each tortilla and fold tightly, sealing the edges with beaten egg.
  3. Heat oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the pies in batches for 2–3 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  6. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl, then roll warm pies in the mixture to coat.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can freeze the pies before frying for easier handling.
  • Air fryer method: 375°F for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Use raspberries or blueberries for a fun variation.
