Description

A sweet and festive peppermint dessert dip, perfect for holiday gatherings and celebrations.

Ingredients

  • One 8-ounce package of cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 7-ounce jar of marshmallow fluff
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip or similar whipped topping, defrosted
  • 1 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
  • Red gel food dye
  • Candy canes, finely crushed for topping

Instructions

  1. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar in a medium bowl on medium speed for 1–2 minutes until silky-smooth.
  2. Add marshmallow fluff, defrosted whipped topping, and peppermint extract. Beat for 1–2 minutes until airy. Do not overmix.
  3. Drizzle 5–6 drops of red gel food coloring and gently fold in with a spatula to create pink swirls. Add more for deeper color if desired.
  4. Scrape down bowl sides, cover, and chill in fridge at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle crushed candy cane pieces on top.

Notes

  • Pairs well with chocolate graham crackers, Oreo cookies, or fresh fruit.
  • Do not overmix after adding whipped topping to keep it airy.
  • Add extra peppermint extract for more intense flavor.
