Description
These Feta Rolls with Chili Honey are golden, flaky, and irresistibly savory-sweet! Creamy feta wrapped in buttery puff pastry, then finished with a drizzle of spicy honey — a perfect snack, brunch bite, or party appetizer.
Ingredients
- For the rolls:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup fresh spinach, chopped (optional, for color)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- For the chili honey drizzle:
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare the filling: In a small bowl, combine crumbled feta and chopped spinach (if using). Set aside.
- Roll and fill: Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 8 equal squares. Place a spoonful of feta mixture in the center of each square, then fold over to form a roll or triangle. Seal edges with a fork.
- Brush and bake: Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush each with egg wash.
- Bake: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
- Make the chili honey: In a small bowl, mix honey, chili flakes, and a pinch of salt. Warm slightly if needed for easy drizzling.
- Finish & serve: Drizzle the warm feta rolls with chili honey and serve immediately. Flaky, creamy, and sweetly spicy!
Notes
- For extra crunch, sprinkle sesame seeds over the rolls before baking.
