Description

Tender, juicy chicken bathed in a rich garlic butter sauce. This easy 15-minute stovetop chicken is packed with flavor and perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded evenly
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (halal-friendly alternative to wine)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, optional

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season evenly, and cook 5 minutes without disturbing.
  2. Flip chicken and cook another 5 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Carefully deglaze the pan with chicken broth, letting it bubble for a few seconds.
  4. Add butter and stir until melted.
  5. Add garlic and cook about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Turn off heat, return chicken to the skillet, coat in sauce, and spoon sauce over the top.
  7. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Chicken broth is used instead of wine to keep the recipe halal.
  • Add extra butter if you prefer more sauce.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge up to 5 days or freeze up to 4 months.
