Juicy garlic butter steak bites paired with succulent shrimp, tender baby potatoes, and crisp green beans. Packed with flavor and perfect for an easy, satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
- Steak & Shrimp:
- 400 g sirloin or ribeye, cut into bite-size cubes
- 250 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
- 2 tbsp butter, divided
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper
- Potatoes & Green Beans:
- 500 g baby potatoes
- 200 g fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs (or thyme or oregano)
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Start with the Vegetables: Boil baby potatoes in salted water 10–12 minutes until tender. Add green beans for the last 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Sear the Steak: Pat steak dry, season with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in skillet. Brown steak 2–3 minutes. Add 1 tbsp butter and 1 clove garlic, stir 30 seconds. Remove and keep warm.
- Cook the Shrimp: Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. In the same skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side. Add remaining butter and garlic, toss briefly, then remove.
- Bring It All Together: Add remaining olive oil to skillet, toss in potatoes and green beans. Season with herbs, salt, and pepper. Sauté 3–4 minutes until lightly crisp and coated.
Notes
- Use halal-certified steak and shrimp.
- Ensure potatoes are slightly firm to avoid overcooking when sautéing.
