Description

These Garlic Mushrooms are juicy, flavorful, and have a meaty texture, making them the perfect complementary side dish for your favorite meals.


Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp plant-based or regular butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 lb crimini or baby bella mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup white wine (Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, or preferred)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a medium skillet. Add olive oil, red pepper flakes, and mushrooms. Cook 7-10 minutes over medium heat until mushrooms begin to brown.
  2. Add white wine and cook until nearly evaporated.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in salt, basil, and parsley. Turn off heat and serve warm.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • These mushrooms are best served immediately but keep well for a few days.
