Description
A delicious white pizza topped with roasted garlic, fresh spinach, and a blend of cheeses.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 medium head garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice off the top of the head of garlic, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, wrap it in aluminum foil, and roast for 30–35 minutes until soft and caramelized. Cool slightly and squeeze out the cloves.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté spinach for 2–3 minutes until wilted. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside.
- Mash roasted garlic until smooth. Mix with ricotta, half the mozzarella, oregano, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Spread garlic-ricotta mixture over the pizza crust. Top with spinach, remaining mozzarella, feta, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until the crust is golden and cheeses are bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve.
Notes
- Use whole-wheat crust for a healthier option.
- Add olives or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
