Description

Experience a mouthwatering blend of juicy ground beef, a drizzle of hot honey, and fluffy rice all in one bowl. This Ground Beef Hot Honey Bowl is quick, easy, and full of flavor—a perfect weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until translucent, about 3–4 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in hot honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add cooked rice and stir until coated. Cook 2 more minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Remove from heat, serve in bowls, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more hot honey or red pepper flakes.
  • Chicken or turkey can be used instead of beef.
  • Pair with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Great for meal prep; store in refrigerator up to 3 days.
