- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp strawberry jam
- 2 tbsp melted chocolate (dark or milk)
- For the Frosting:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pink gel coloring (optional)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- Bake the Cupcakes: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fill liners ¾ full and bake 16–18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Make the Neapolitan Filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla; whip until fluffy. Divide into three bowls: Vanilla cream plain, Strawberry cream with jam, Chocolate cream with melted chocolate. Transfer each to piping bags.
- Fill the Cupcakes: Cut a small core from each cooled cupcake. Pipe a bit of each flavor (vanilla, strawberry, chocolate) into every cupcake to create a Neapolitan center.
- Prepare the Frosting: Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Divide into three bowls: Tint one pink, add cocoa powder to one, leave one white. Pipe triple swirls on top using piping bags.
- Serve: Top with chocolate shavings or a mini strawberry. Enjoy a light, creamy Neapolitan-inspired treat!
