Description

A delicious honey garlic salmon rice bowl topped with sautéed vegetables. Sweet, savory, and perfectly balanced for a quick, nourishing meal.


Ingredients

  • For the Salmon:
  • 1 salmon fillet (68 oz)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • For the Rice:
  • 1/2 cup cooked white or brown rice
  • Pinch of salt
  • For the Sautéed Veggies:
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snap peas)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional Garnish:
  • Sesame seeds
  • Green onions (sliced)


Instructions

  1. Cook the Rice: Prepare rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
  2. Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season salmon with salt and pepper. Mix honey, soy sauce, and garlic, brush over salmon, and cook 4–5 minutes per side until glazed and cooked through.
  3. Sauté the Veggies: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add vegetables, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and sauté 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Assemble the Bowl: Add rice to a bowl, top with salmon and veggies, and drizzle extra honey-garlic sauce from the pan.
  5. Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use halal-certified soy sauce.
  • Do not overcook salmon to keep it moist and flaky.
