Description

A savory vegetarian dish featuring mushrooms wrapped in puff pastry, crispy on the outside and rich with herby flavor inside.


Ingredients

  • 500g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until soft.
  3. Add mushrooms, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Cook until mushrooms release moisture.
  4. Roll out puff pastry and spread mushroom mixture in the center.
  5. Fold pastry over the filling, sealing edges with beaten egg.
  6. Brush the top with remaining egg.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
