Ingredients
- 3 cups cauliflower florets, lightly steamed
- 2 cups broccoli florets, lightly steamed
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 tsp garlic, minced
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook sliced sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
- Pour in heavy cream and whisk until smooth.
- Simmer over medium-low heat until slightly thickened.
- Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine cauliflower, broccoli, and sausage.
- Pour cheese sauce over the mixture and stir well.
- Transfer to a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve hot.
