Description
These low-carb Philly cheesesteak beef roll ups are packed with tender beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and melty provolone cheese. A keto-friendly, high-protein dinner that’s easy and satisfying.
Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced sirloin steak or shaved beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- Toothpicks, for securing
- Optional: fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add bell pepper and onion and sauté for 5–6 minutes until softened. Remove and set aside.
- Season the sliced beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Lay out each slice of beef, top with cooked peppers and onions, then add a half slice of provolone cheese. Roll tightly and secure with a toothpick.
- Place roll ups in a baking dish and bake for 12–15 minutes, until beef is cooked through and cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven, garnish with parsley or chives if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use shaved beef for easier rolling.
- Serve with a low-carb side salad or roasted vegetables.
