Description

These Caramel Apple Pie Bombs are warm, gooey, and bursting with cinnamon-spiced apple filling wrapped inside flaky biscuit dough. Each bite delivers sweet caramel, buttery apples, and golden pastry perfection.

Ingredients

    • For the apple filling:
    • 2 apples, peeled and finely chopped
    • 2 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • Pinch of salt
    • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

  • For assembly:
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 pieces caramel candy
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Cinnamon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Cook for 5–7 minutes until apples soften and the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Flatten each biscuit dough piece into a circle.
  5. Spoon a small amount of apple filling into the center of each dough piece.
  6. Add one caramel candy on top of the apple filling.
  7. Fold dough around the filling and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball.
  8. Place bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Brush each with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
  10. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy the caramel apple goodness!

Notes

  • You can substitute caramel squares with soft caramels or caramel bits.
  • For extra indulgence, drizzle the baked bombs with caramel sauce.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream for a dessert-style treat.
