Ingredients

  • Chocolate Cake Layer
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2.5 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • Oreo Cheesecake
  • 20 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk
  • 18 Oreo cookies
  • Chocolate Ganache Frosting
  • 16 oz semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons corn syrup (optional)
  • Oreo White Chocolate Mousse
  • 3.5 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 10 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • Decoration
  • 6–8 whole Oreo cookies
  • 6 crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake the chocolate cake layer at 350°F until set. Cool completely.
  2. Reduce oven to 325°F. Beat the cheesecake ingredients until smooth, layering Oreo cookies throughout the batter.
  3. Bake the cheesecake in a water bath for 55–65 minutes. Cool gradually in the oven, then refrigerate until completely chilled.
  4. Make the chocolate ganache by pouring hot cream over chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth, cool until thick, then whip until light and fluffy.
  5. Prepare the Oreo mousse by melting the white chocolate with cream, folding it into whipped cream, then mixing in crushed Oreos.
  6. Place the chocolate cake on a serving plate and spread with a thin layer of ganache.
  7. Set the chilled cheesecake on top of the cake layer.
  8. Spread the Oreo white chocolate mousse evenly over the cheesecake and chill until firm.
  9. Frost the top and sides with whipped chocolate ganache.
  10. Press the crushed Oreos and mini chocolate chips around the sides.
  11. Pipe the remaining ganache on top and decorate with whole Oreo cookies.
  12. Refrigerate at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before slicing and serving.
