This quick and easy Alfredo sauce is rich, creamy, and ready in just 15 minutes. Made with simple ingredients, it delivers a smooth, restaurant-quality flavor perfect for pasta, chicken, or vegetables.
Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil salted water and cook fettuccine until al dente. Reserve some pasta water.
- Soften cream cheese in the microwave until smooth.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add butter, cream cheese, cream, and garlic.
- Stir or whisk until the cream cheese fully melts into the sauce.
- Let the sauce gently bubble for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Stir in parmesan cheese and cook until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and adjust thickness if needed with pasta water.
- Toss with drained pasta and season with salt and pepper.
Notes
- This makes about 1.5 cups of sauce.
