Description
A perfect blend of sweet and salty in this no-bake Oreo icebox cake, layered with whipped cream and rich salted caramel sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24 Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Extra crushed Oreos for garnish
- Drizzle of salted caramel sauce for topping
- Sea salt flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Whip the cream: Beat heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- Layer the cake: Spread a thin layer of whipped cream on the bottom of an 8×8-inch baking dish. Arrange a layer of whole Oreos on top.
- Spread another layer of whipped cream over the Oreos and drizzle salted caramel sauce. Repeat layers until the top, finishing with whipped cream.
- Chill: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Garnish and serve: Top with crushed Oreos, caramel drizzle, and optional sea salt flakes. Slice and enjoy.
Notes
- For best results, chill overnight for the Oreos to soften fully.
- Adjust the salted caramel amount to taste for desired sweetness and saltiness.
