Description

Sticky honey-sriracha chicken noodles with a fiery garlic glaze. Sweet, spicy, and garlicky noodles that are quick and bold for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • For the Chicken:
  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast (thinly sliced)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • For the Noodles:
  • 8 oz noodles (lo mein, ramen, or spaghetti)
  • Salt for boiling water
  • For the Honey-Sriracha Glaze:
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1½ tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • For the Garlic Base:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Optional Garnish:
  • Green onions (sliced)
  • Sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Cook the Noodles: Boil noodles in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Glaze: Whisk honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  4. Make the Fiery Garlic Base: Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Combine Everything: Pour glaze into skillet and simmer 1–2 minutes until thickened. Return chicken, add noodles, and toss until coated.
  6. Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.

  • Adjust sriracha for desired heat level.
  • Use halal chicken and soy sauce.
