- For the Buns
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons Instant Dry Yeast
- 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Warm Water
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoons Oil (Canola or Sunflower)

- For the Custard Filling
- 1 package Custard Powder
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence (optional)

- Mixing Bowl
- Non-Stick Pan

Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
- In another container, mix warm water, milk, and oil.
- Pour the liquids into the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Prepare custard filling according to package instructions and add vanilla essence.
- Punch down the risen dough and knead for 3 minutes.
- Divide into 12 pieces and roll each into a 3–4 inch circle.
- Add a spoonful of custard to the center and seal tightly.
- Let the buns rest for 15 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick pan on low, cover, and cook the buns for 10 minutes.
- Flip gently, cover, and cook for another 5 minutes until fluffy and cooked through.
