Ingredients

- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1 tbsp strawberry jam
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

- 6 medium flour tortillas
- Oil for frying
- For Coating:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, strawberries, strawberry jam, and vanilla until smooth.
- Place 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center of each tortilla and fold tightly, sealing edges.
- Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry chimichangas 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon, then roll warm chimichangas in the mixture to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately while warm.
