Description

This creamy Cajun chicken bake is a flavorful, one-pan meal with juicy chicken breasts, bell peppers, and a rich cream cheese topping. Low-carb, gluten-free, and packed with bold Cajun spices.


Ingredients

  • Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Chicken
  • 2 small bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 4 small chicken breasts (halal)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 oz cream cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix all Cajun seasoning ingredients in a small bowl.
  3. Spread sliced bell peppers evenly in a casserole dish.
  4. Place chicken breasts on top of the peppers.
  5. Season chicken generously with Cajun spice mix.
  6. Top with minced garlic.
  7. Add 2 slices of cream cheese on each chicken breast.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  9. Bake uncovered for 20–30 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
  10. Optional: broil for 2 minutes for a golden top.
  11. Serve with bell peppers from the bottom of the dish.
