This creamy Cajun chicken bake is a flavorful, one-pan meal with juicy chicken breasts, bell peppers, and a rich cream cheese topping. Low-carb, gluten-free, and packed with bold Cajun spices.
Ingredients
- Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Chicken
- 2 small bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 4 small chicken breasts (halal)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 oz cream cheese, sliced
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix all Cajun seasoning ingredients in a small bowl.
- Spread sliced bell peppers evenly in a casserole dish.
- Place chicken breasts on top of the peppers.
- Season chicken generously with Cajun spice mix.
- Top with minced garlic.
- Add 2 slices of cream cheese on each chicken breast.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for 20–30 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
- Optional: broil for 2 minutes for a golden top.
- Serve with bell peppers from the bottom of the dish.
