Description
This halal garlic butter sautéed shrimp is juicy, tender, and packed with bold flavor—quick-cooked in rich garlic butter, lemon juice, and herbs for an easy high-protein dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb large halal shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 large lemon (juiced)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Pat halal shrimp dry with paper towels for better searing.
- Mix Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes, then toss shrimp to coat.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until foaming.
- Add garlic and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant (do not burn).
- Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden.
- Squeeze lemon juice over shrimp and stir to coat evenly.
- Remove from heat and mix in fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately while hot and buttery.
