Description

This halal garlic butter sautéed shrimp is juicy, tender, and packed with bold flavor—quick-cooked in rich garlic butter, lemon juice, and herbs for an easy high-protein dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large halal shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 large lemon (juiced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)


Instructions

  1. Pat halal shrimp dry with paper towels for better searing.
  2. Mix Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes, then toss shrimp to coat.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until foaming.
  4. Add garlic and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant (do not burn).
  5. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden.
  6. Squeeze lemon juice over shrimp and stir to coat evenly.
  7. Remove from heat and mix in fresh parsley.
  8. Serve immediately while hot and buttery.
