Description
These Hot Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls are ultra-soft, chocolatey, and topped with marshmallow cream and chocolate sauce for the ultimate cozy breakfast or dessert treat.
Ingredients
- 1 box triple chocolate cake mix
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups warm water
- 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup Mallo Bits (plus more for topping)
- 1 1/2–2 cups mini chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
- 1 container marshmallow creme
- 1 container chocolate sauce
Instructions
- Mix cake mix, flour, warm water, and yeast in a large bowl.
- Knead dough on floured surface until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in oiled bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle on floured surface.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle Mallo Bits and chocolate chips.
- Roll into a log and cut into 1 1/2-inch rolls.
- Place in baking dish, cover, and let rise 1 more hour.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
- Cool slightly, then drizzle with chocolate sauce.
- Warm marshmallow creme, pipe over rolls, and top with extra chips and Mallo Bits.
Notes
- Let dough fully rise for soft, fluffy rolls.
- Do not overheat marshmallow creme when warming.
- Best served warm and fresh.
