Description

This Passion Fruit Iced Tea is a refreshing tropical drink made with black tea, fresh passion fruit pulp, and a touch of sweetness. Perfectly chilled and served over ice for a vibrant, fruity beverage.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups water, divided
  • 3 black tea bags
  • 1/4 cup vegan granulated sugar (to taste)
  • 3/4 cup passion fruit pulp (about 45 fruits)
  • Ice, for serving
  • Mint sprig, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil, then remove from heat.
  2. Steep tea bags for 3–4 minutes, then remove them.
  3. Stir in sugar until fully dissolved.
  4. Add remaining 1 1/2 cups water to cool the tea.
  5. Mix in passion fruit pulp and stir well.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with mint if desired.

Notes

  • Store in the fridge for up to 3–4 days.
  • Stir before serving as tea may settle.
  • Strain if you prefer no seeds.
  • Remove tea bags promptly to avoid bitterness.
