Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef steak (chuck), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the steak with paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Layer potatoes and onions in the slow cooker.
- Add seasoned steak on top.
- Mix broth, sour cream, and garlic, then pour over everything.
- Cook on low for 7–8 hours or high for 4–5 hours.
- Add cheddar cheese 15 minutes before serving and let melt.
- Serve hot and garnish if desired.

- Sirloin or ribeye can replace chuck steak.
